Concept

“An environment rich in humanity” is what is demanded in school architecture in general. This school is keen on studies related to daily life, such as fashion, architecture, OA. As this is a school to train students to make peoples’ lives better, the atmosphere inside becomes an even more important factor. We based our thoughts on “living environment”, to create more interest towards each subject. In order to do so, we proposed “architecture as a teaching material”, using materials related to the training subjects. We made an air-flow path for noise control, and a symbolic stairwell, and on the exterior, a mansard roof with trilaminar structure to give it an artistic and cultural impression.
