コンセプト
The Ooi Town Satoyama Cultural Exchange Center was planned based on the concept of "a place that supports the preservation, nurturing, and transmission of local culture through the sharing of dreams and inspiration by the people who live and gather here, using their rich individuality. It is a lifelong learning center that blends in with the surrounding environment and landscape, and as you approach it, the characteristics of each of the library, gallery, community center, and hall become apparent. The large roof that wraps around residents' activities and the monitor roof that lets in light accentuate the building. We held a "Construction Promotion Council" of residents and adopted their requests and ideas at 13 meetings to create a variety of spaces. Each function is interconnected, and from the viewpoint of the users, we are creating a relationship that stimulates each other and compensates for deficiencies. It is also our goal for visitors to become interested in other activities and to be able to cooperate and participate in them.
