Concept

Community center of Shiga Town, with Gymnasium, Town Ground and Town Library, is a center of culture, sports activities, and health care in Shiga Town. To make this building harmonized with surroundings, the east side of the building where residences are standing next to is made to be single -story, and green area is created in the site. As for the exterior, walls of stoneware tiles and gable roofs of sheet copper resonate with Hira Mountains and the rhythm is extended to the Lake Biwa.
