Concept

This housing complex was planned within a scenic area on the right bank of the Sumiyoshi River in Kobe City as earthquake reconstruction housing. Aiming to create a high-quality residential complex that matches the image of an upscale neighborhood, efforts were made to harmonize with the surrounding townscape and establish a lush, green environment. A circular community hall was placed along the western road to create a lively and welcoming atmosphere. The landscaping plan leverages the site's elevation changes to create a garden-like setting with a meandering path that residents can enjoy while walking. The design features a diverse array of plantings with a focus on deciduous trees to create a bright and inviting landscape.
