Nanohana Nursery School

Concept

Nanohana Nersery School is located in the northwest of the Lake Biwa, Shiga prefecture, where is surronded by the blessed nature. We have aimed to create the facility appropriate for the environment. The site are able to get plenty of sunshine, comfortable winds from the northeast and good natural under current water. Solar energy gain that is not only warm water and light by solar penels, but also by the duble skin roofs is brought for the improvement of the inner temperature. The skylight comes through the first floor by light duct arrange efficiently energy saving of the school. By considering to take effectively the main natural elements such as sunlight, wind and heat, provides children more comfortable environment. We hope children would receive the natural sense of creativity through the school life with great nature surround them.
