Concept
For children who spend most of their day at the nursery, the nursery is their "second home" and a place where they can learn morals through group activities in a relaxed and safe environment. We aimed to create a nursery that stimulates the five senses, where children and staff can grow together, and where children can absorb new things and grow through play. The nursery and offices face south, while the north side of the building ensures stable lighting and ventilation. In addition, light fixtures with brightness sensors that can adjust illumination and dimming enable operation that takes running costs into consideration. In the exterior and planting plan, fruit trees and trees that bear berries are arranged to create a space where the children can feel the changes of the four seasons, which will leave a lasting impression on them.
