Shiriike Nursery School is located almost in the center of the district and is positioned as an important hub for community development activities. In planning the nursery, we took into account the limited site area by placing the garden on the south side of the adjacent park. At the same time, the nursery is visually open to the local community, and the park, which has many elements that attract children's interest, can be accessed directly from the yard, making the nursery a familiar place for local residents visiting the park, which is a place of recreation and relaxation for the community. On the first floor, the nursery and entrance are designed to be visible from the office, so that the children's lives can be monitored and visitors to the nursery can be monitored as well. In addition, by creating a continuous wooden slatted floor and terrace in front of the nursery on both the first and second floors, we not only promote communication between the children, but also create a relaxed space with a gentle continuity between the interior and exterior spaces. The square-roofed playroom, with its top-lighting and view of the park's greenery, is a rich space that allows children to feel nature even in the midst of an urban environment.
