Residential House in Sakurai

The yard is on the south side, opposite from the street. This way, we were able to secure path for wind and sunlight. As the dining room is often used as a home office, we connected a wooden deck, continuing with the yard, to create a refreshable place. The design is rational, so the space can be used for many purposes: relaxing, hobbies, etc. Since the temperature in Osaka tends drop largely in the winter, we used double glass and external thermal insulation. The owner has a love for trains and miniature models and obtains a collection of data and books. We made a hobby room for this collection. The lounge is a space where you can feel at ease.
