Concept
Under the theme of "Dialogue of Gaze," we tried to create a natural connection between spaces for family interaction and comfortable places for contemplation and rest. The exterior walls are made of exterior materials that blend in with the soil to blend in with the quiet and tranquil neighborhood, and the windows facing the exterior are kept to a minimum in consideration of the surrounding environment. The "U" shaped layout makes the "white room," which is a piano room, look like a framed picture from the living room through the courtyard. The glass object at the entrance is a joint work of the designer and glass artist Keiko Miura, expressing "gathering," and shines neatly in the morning light.
