Kosei Regional Fire Station South Division

This fire station covers the western shore of Lake Biwa and the southern part of Takashima County. In this area, where beautiful villages remain in the wide fields of the plains, the fire station was designed to have a functional floor plan for urgent work in which every second counts, to protect lives and property, and to be a fire station that fits in with the local community. The office, sleeping quarters, cafeteria, and meeting room for waiting firefighters are located on the west side of the building, the garage for pump trucks, tank trucks, command vehicles, and ambulances is located on the east side, and lockers for fire protection equipment are located in the corridor connecting east and west for the smoothest possible mobilization. We hope that this building will become a new accent for the community and deepen people's awareness of firefighting and fire prevention.
