Nakazawa Kenpan Head Office

Concept

Nakazawa Kenpan Co., Ltd. provides safe and reliable services aimed at improving the living environment and contributing to the well-being of residents, from the sale of housing construction materials to the pre-cutting of wood structural members and siding, interior and exterior work, and installation of housing equipment. The building was planned based on the basic concept of "creating a comfortable environment for the head office, main store, and logistics functions using materials (lumber and building materials) that represent the company." The center of the building is a flexible 10.5-meter span office and meeting room made of large-section laminated wood that allows approximately 100 head office employees to work efficiently. The interior environment includes a nature-inspired maple café for casual refreshment and work, a high-quality executive office with solid wood and a light ceiling, and a calm reception area with new construction materials and staggered shelves. The exterior of the building blends in with the landscape, and the activities and building materials are visible on the façade, taking advantage of the quality of the materials.
