Concept
A fire department needs to respond immediately to disasters, and perform its functions fully in times of need, in order to save the citizens’ lives and assets. We designed a space that enables the workers to act flexibly and gave great thought to the amenity of the place. We also relieved the pressure it gives to the nearby houses by dividing the volume of the building into several sections depending on the functions and by using unique exterior material. We downsized the underground space, made efficient use of the deck floors, and unitized the ready room to lower the costs.
