The site is placed at the foot of Soni Heights un Murou, Akame and Aoyama National Park and surrounded by planted Japanese cedars. Low eaves and gable roofs of straight design, along with lilting columns in pilotis that support a slab, help the building harmonized with surrounding environment structurally and in a color sense. As for the inside, holding enough play fields in activity space, it is built with consideration of not only constant ventilation and lighting through both sides but also natural lighting from skylights referred to Yamato building so that darkness in the middle of mountains is not be felt. In addition, cycloid curve framing brings the inside different conclusion in contrast to the outside. In order to take advantages of material impression and its strength, structural materials in main parts are exposed as they are and present a functional design.
