Concept
With understanding the function of Lifelong Learning Activities and the characteristics around the site, we proposed this architecture to satisfy various requirements along the theme to design the facility for both function and atmosphere for a hot spring resort area in the mountain. We gave careful consideration to the architecture contributes to the formation of the landscape of this town in front of the site. The various rooms related to Lifelong Leaning are arranged along the river park. Because all rooms are opened toward the river, a prosperity must be made on the riverbed as a landscape like a symbol of the old hot spring. The architecture formed abreast line along the river produces the land scape where supply perspective and nuance, and it would bring new poetic sentiment to the street of the old hot spring town.
