Asunaro Kaki-no-Sato

Concept

In order to respond to issues such as disaster countermeasures for the facility and to ensure the safety of medical care provided to residents, as well as to promote social participation of disabled people and foster understanding among people, the facility was relocated to this location, which was once a flower-growing complex, as a place for daily life where people can experience social participation and contribution in a rich environment surrounded by nature.
The six units, which consist of private rooms and a semi-public living room and dining room, are connected by common spaces such as a workroom and multipurpose space, as well as administrative offices, all enveloped by the tranquil surrounding environment, farmland, animal breeding space, and grassy areas. We hope that the facility will become a foundation for a peaceful life where each resident can find their own place while interacting with local residents through farming and animal breeding.
