Concept

The concept of this facility is a “cocoon that connotes life”, as it is a place to provide people with ease and to teach techniques. The exterior is supposed to evoke the images of nurse’s hats and bandages, and generate a warm feeling in the people outside. The interior is designed to support a variety of training and communication programs. The hall forms a unique shape that can be seen from outside. We used natural materials, which are also called healthy materials, and solar power to realize normalization as well as “human and environment-clean architecture”. We also arranged the surrounding nature so that the visitors can enjoy flowers through-out all seasons.
